Is Facebook the mark of the beast?
I saw an article online by the Huffington Post about the new Tim Burton movie not having ethnic diversity. At the end were a bunch of comments and of course I felt I had to add my half pennies worth. I simply typed, "Oh if only all the characters were Oompaloompas!". But to add your comment you had to sign in with your facebook bullshit. The world is even more fucked than you think.

Political Correctness = Lberal Fascism
Come on people, be honest, Rachel Maddow is the mirror image of Bill O'Reily. Old woman, old man, staunch liberal, hard core conservative. The only similarity is pompousness. Oh, and both are in it for the money, though they will say they contribute too....and take the tax deduction.
I hear the maitre d calling, "Barley Wine Paul, PARTY OF ONE"
Fuck the media and THEIR two party system.

The image should say it all, but I'll add to it
It is so fucking great to be out of utah. utah mormons are the worst people in this country. Living there got me back to smoking pot, then moving to a gay city where I could just end up swept off my feet by a man, even beyond that I can no longer believe there is a "God". So congratulations mormons of st george you've succeeded in getting someone to do the exact opposite of what you preach, just like yourselves. Now if there does turn out to be a "God" I will volunteer to tie that millstone around your necks. Read your bible, I just donated mine to Desert Angels here in Palm Springs.
I don't promise, but that should be the end of my mormon commentary. I am in a much better situation, again surrounded by beautiful scenery, but this time beautiful people as well.
Welcome to paradise. I sure hope so.

The University of Missouri Football Team Took A Stand Against Bigotry...Sort Of
When I first caught wind of the Tigers wanting to boycott the game against byu I couldn't believe my ears. Then when I heard the reason I was quite underwhelmed. I was hoping that they were taking a stance against the new standings on children of gay parents not being able to be baptized into the lds organization of which byu is an extension of. Many will say that it is a private institution and it is their right to set whatever bigoted rules they want. That is true, but it is also true that by other schools being willing to play teams from byu they are helping fund this hate machine. With 100 plus people involved with the football team I am sure there are at least a few people among them. It would be nice to be able to ask Michael Sam, a gay, black, former Mizz player, how he feels on the subject.
Now these policies of the mormon organization are seeping into the secular world as seen by the actions of Judge scott johansen (a byu alum) in the case of Beckie Pierce and April Hoagland, a lesbian couple, and their foster child. So I ask the Missouri football team (as well as other schools and individuals) to make their stand against bigotry on both legs. In addition, please take a moment to visit the following link. Thank you.

A Tree That Continually Produces Rotten Fruit Needs To Be Uprooted
In Price UT, judge scott johansen ordered the removal of a baby that a gay couple had been taking care of for three months solely because they are gay. They are already doing a fine job raising the children of one of the mothers, and the natural birth mother even wants them to adopt the child. The couple is legally married and have already been approved as foster parents by the State of Utah after going through the background checks, home inspection, and interviewing process. It is only through the bigoted mind produced by the worst "christian" denomination on the planet that such a decision could be reached.
Straight or gay I don't know how anyone could want to be a member of such a false religion. I am starting to believe that the B in byu stands for Babylon, as in Babylon the Great. Just last week the lds church stated that children of gay parents could not be baptized into the church (Thank God!) until the age of eighteen and renouncing their parents lifestyle. Many people were upset and protested that they should be allowed. People, think! Count your blessings. The best way to protest is to leave the church. Sadly it will miss your tithing more than it will miss you. Stop funding the hate machine.
