The University of Missouri Football Team Took A Stand Against Bigotry...Sort Of

When I first caught wind of the Tigers wanting to boycott the game against byu I couldn't believe my ears. Then when I heard the reason I was quite underwhelmed. I was hoping that they were taking a stance against the new standings on children of gay parents not being able to be baptized into the lds organization of which byu is an extension of.  Many will say that it is a private institution and it is their right to set whatever bigoted rules they want. That is true, but it is also true that by other schools being willing to play teams from byu they are helping fund this hate machine. With 100 plus people involved with the football team I am sure there are at least a few people among them. It would be nice to be able to ask Michael Sam, a gay, black, former Mizz player, how he feels on the subject.

 Now these policies of the mormon organization are seeping into the secular world as seen by the actions of Judge scott johansen (a byu alum) in the case of Beckie Pierce and April Hoagland, a lesbian couple, and their foster child. So I ask the Missouri football team (as well as other schools and individuals) to make their stand against bigotry on both legs. In addition, please take a moment to visit the following link. A Tree That Continually Produces Rotten Fruit Needs To Be Uprooted

In Price UT, judge scott johansen ordered the removal of a baby that a gay couple had been taking care of for three months solely because they are gay. They are already doing a fine job raising the children of one of the mothers, and the natural birth mother even wants them to adopt the child. The couple is legally married and have already been approved as foster parents by the State of Utah after going through the background checks, home inspection, and interviewing process. It is only through the bigoted mind  produced by the worst "christian" denomination on the planet that such a decision could be reached.

 Straight or gay I don't know how anyone could want to be a member of such a false religion. I am starting to believe that the B in byu stands for Babylon, as in Babylon the Great. Just last week the lds church stated that children of gay parents could not be baptized into the church (Thank God!) until the age of eighteen and renouncing their parents lifestyle. Many people were upset and protested that they should be allowed. People, think! Count your blessings. The best way to protest is to leave the church. Sadly it will miss your tithing more than it will miss you. Stop funding the hate machine.

Utah Family Values (its not all bad news)

Sadly Utah ranks in the top ten in many negative statistics in the family values area, including suicide, prescription drug abuse, sexual violence against women, and just released this past Monday, #8 in child abuse and #1 in child sex abuse. As I mention though, it is not all bad news. In the same news segment that reported the awful child abuse numbers it was reported that alcohol sales in Utah are up while DUI's are down. Looks like the alcohol drinkers are the responsible ones! No irony here, just hypocrisy.

The Utah Utes Lost Theire First Game Of The 2015 Season

Could it be because the players were being coerced to go to non sanctioned lds classes at a public college instead of attending practices or studying USC film? Maybe the rest of the nation hasn't heard about it, but some of the Utah players have been complaining about losing playing time for not attending these non class classes. Its not part of the college but apparently connected to the coaching staff. Not much is being said about it. Surprise!

Are people the cause of climate change?

  As we all know there has been climate change throughout the history of this planet, but is this latest warm up caused by people? I believe it is, but not do to our lifestyles. I do not say this to justify my carbon footprint as it is smaller than my size 8 physical footprint. I feel it is due to over population. Now, many peole will say things to the effect of  "but there is only one person per square mile". What I mean is that the more people we have the less nature there is. More houses, asphalt and concrete, more industrial waste. We need the Air, Trees, and Water for the Animals (which humans are) to survive.

  Many people will say it is their God give right/responsibility to procreate, and according to the book of Genesis that is true, yet in the last book of the bible, Revelation, we are told that God will bring to ruin those ruining the earth. Now I'm not saying that nobody should be having children, but these people like the 19 Kids and Counting family really need to weigh this out. People that are spitting out children just to keep their churches in existence  (such as the LDS and FLDS) are ruining the earth. Pure hubris. Out here in the desert we are running out of water but not vacant eyed people. To the north and east our woodlands and wetlands are being encroached upon. In third world nations they cant even feed the children. All we need to do is scale back to 1976 world population levels and this planet will be able to start healing itself.

 Condoms people, condoms. Any kind of birth control. If sex were only for procreation God wouldn't have made it so pleasurable.

With a white flag and many under the guise of local indians the mormons approached and slaughtered men, women, and children. I'm sure brigham young was very proud. These people worship that piece of fuck like he's Jesus himself. You can google it and get the historical details (or distortions if you read the lds version). I guess it was just a precursor of the present, nothing but fronts and facades from the mormons of southwest Utah. The shittiest people I've met in my life!

Come on NY Rangers

Another disappointing playoff season. Same issues as with the previous coach, power play failure, star players not performing, and as with this coach with a previous team, unwilling to switch goalies. I know that Hank has been solid over the years, but this year it was Talbot who secured the presidents cup and home ice advantage which was not taken advantage of.(I don't want to hear about the Olympics, Carey Price has a great international history but no cup. Roberto Luango...)  And Sather, why do we have Dan Boyle and not Brian? St Louis? Lets get a little muscle this off season.

 I actually blame it all on dan patrick and his boys. All year long no talk of hockey but the Rangers two game sevens they finally go. they should stick to soccer and other lemming sports.

So I sent an email to Kellog's regarding the Eggo Ice Cream and they where kind enough to respond with    "...we do not accept product ideas from outside sources..." That's fine, hire me for a day and give me ten grand for the idea.

For those of you who don't know that is the absolutely arrogant name the lds church(?) gave their board of directors. Just this past week they came out with statements on non discrimination and religious freedom. Get me some hip waders because its getting deep in here. I wont get into the particulars because its a joke, as is anything that comes out of that organization. Discriminate is all  they do. In regards to religious freedom, my Heavenly Father gave us the gift of marijuana and all they do is inhibit the legal and God given right to use it. Just stay on those anti depressants morons.

I was watching Utah Conversations With Ted Capener this past Sunday on one of the PBS stations and the subject was rape/sexual violence with guest Holly Mullen who's title and affiliation I cant recall. She pointed out an interesting, actually shocking, statistic. 1 in 5 women in America are victims of sexual violence. As if that wasn't bad enough in Utah it is 1 in 3. So it brought to mind all these horrific white temples dotting the state and how they are no different from the white washed tombs Jesus mentions in Matthew 23. The rest of that chapter really talks about the modern day lds organization. A lot of rules, regulations, judgments, oppressions, and repressions. Maybe that would explain the violence.

The plunge in oil prices

Of course most of us are happy with the drop in oil prices, but I cant help but wonder why it has dropped so far so fast. The only reason I can come up with is obama's  failed energy programs. I know, it sounds as though that doesn't make sense.  He came in with promises of alternative energy sources but just wound up throwing tax payers dollars onto the sun and watching them burn up. It was just about the time of the mid term elections when the plunge began and here is what I feel the reason is. OPEC knew that the Dems were going to lose control and there would be a good chance the GOP would get the Keystone Pipeline approved (it did just pass in the senate 62-31, 67 votes needed to avoid a veto) so they would let prices plunge so there wouldn't be much pressure on the Dems to get more oil production/lower prices from North American sources.  I am interested to see if it passes will OPEC cut their production levels, and the same if obama   manages to veto the bill. Is it even possible that obama was in collusion with OPEC just to get his whiny, self righteous, arrogant way? It is not too far fetched. After all everything he does seems to be more about his legacy than the good of the people.

the one thing he left out is that marijuana should be legalized for the use of chronic pain. aside from that it is a great segment from the pbs newshour on the sad state of affairs in this country. really, why do we allow people to be pumped full of medicines created by man and not the ones created by our creator?

Church of Hypocrisy of latter day saints

This past Sunday the UT Lt Gov, Spencer Cox, issued this statement  "I would like to apologize on behalf of the UT GOP for inexplicably holding a presser. Sunday should be about family not politics" Actually Sir Self Righteous. religion should be about God not politics. As Jesus stated, "Although you are in the world be no part of the world". He also set the example of religion and politics not melding by fleeing from the people of Israel when they wanted to make him king, and when he stated to Pilate that his kingdom is not of this world. Have they never read the book of Revelation? Silly me, why do I even ask. It as if none of them ever read any part of the bible.  Look, there is a reason the bible starts at Genesis and ends at Revelation. The beginning and the end. Nothing more is needed. Even in Revelation 22:18 it is mentioned "if anyone makes an addition to these things God will add to him the plagues that are written in this scroll..." Yes it is written in regards to the scroll(s) of Revelation, but being the fourth to last verse of the bible it pretty much tells us, it has been written, no more is needed.

This is nothing against Joseph Smith. In fact I think a great time would be hanging with him and Charles Manson. The church of lsd meets lds. I'd throw C.T. Russell into the mix but I think he'd spend all night laughing at Joe and shaking his head at Charlie. (I intentionally left Jesus out of the mix because I suspect my head would explode) And no brigham young because I feel he was a piece of shit.

Affordable Care Act Victim

A few years ago I did a post about entertaining people at the IRS with various answers to the question of occupation. I had put rented mule, song and dance man, uncle sams whore...this year I will be listing ACA Victim as my occupation. I suggest all who have been affected by this to do the same. It is laughable to think that I have been going without insurance since this law went into effect. Thaks for looking out for the working class you fucking piece of shit.
