And then some
So what do you drink after four different vintages of Thomas Hardy's? How about a 1988 Samichlaus!?! At one point Thomas Hardy's Ale was the strongest beer in the world. The beer that took over that top spot was Samichlaus brewed by the Hurlimann brewery in Switzerland. It topped out at just over 14%abv. Now breweries such as Samuel Adams and Dogfish Head have beers that clock in at over 20%. Personally I don't think they should be called beers. The yeast strains they use are labratory concoctions made to drive up the alcohol content. They may say that there are other reasons, but it is just bragging rights and greed.
Remember when you were young? You shone like the sun!
But wait, theres more.
