With the recent scandal one cant help but wonder why we keep the US version of the SS around. If the govt. is going to keep these people around just to spend tax payer dollars they should at least be the ones giving service instead of being serviced. Also, if the president and other "VIP's" are doing a good job they shouldn't need protection.

Militias

Recent reports in the mainstream media have stated that the number of both militias and militia members has been on a steady increase since 2009. I cant help but wonder how true this is. In fact I don't believe it. I have not met any of these people and I have not seen or heard of any reports on these groups taking some sort of action. Is the government just laying the ground work to take away more liberties from the public?

Another thing about the govt. telling the press what to say. Have you noticed that when the Dow goes up it is due to the "economic recovery" where as when it drops it is due to concerns about Europe. Even Larry Kudlow is spewing this rubbish.

One last thought. A person cannot be declared a martyr if after three years said person has only proven himself to be a failure.

I'll be spending a good portion of my day with these Trappist ales. Sadly I do not have a representation from all seven Trappist breweries but these will suffice. In fact by the time I am done with them I should be doing a lot of weaving. I really would enjoy having a Westvleteren in this lot but as things are I cant even afford these beers.
